Finding Your Stance and Improving Balance:

Establishing your stance is essential for developing stability and control while skateboarding. Most skaters have either a regular or goofy stance. Regular stance means your left foot is forward, while goofy stance means your right foot is forward. Experiment with both to determine which feels more comfortable for you. As you find your stance, focus on improving your balance by practicing weight distribution on your board. Start by standing on the board with your feet shoulder-width apart and gradually shift your weight from front to back. This exercise will help you develop stability and prepare you for riding and performing tricks confidently.
